Docs: Component
CO₂ storage
Uncertainty
The mass of CO₂ injected for geologic storage, or used as an input for another storage process (e.g. mineralization in concrete), can be measured directly as a metered output from the CDR system and a metered input to the storage system. It can also be checked for consistency against operational data from the CO₂ capture or biomass transformation system.

Revision history

Apr 01 2024
Edited for cross-pathway consitency during a round of updates and pathway additions. Modified this component to specifically describe injection of CO2, rather than a broader category of carbon-containing materials like bio-oil.
